What a day!!! On Saturday, we had a big event. A holiday shopping event at our local farmers market. We took a few of our adoptable pets, had some really fun baskets to raffle off, and offered gift wrapping. Our booth was FLOODED with people loving on the pups, we took in several foster applications, and 3 dogs were adopted!!!! So exciting! Nugget (now Darla) cuddled with anyone and everyone that would love on her! It was so much fun and we met some amazing people. So many offered to volunteer. I love the hearts in our community and we had a great time education many people on what we do, why we do it, how we do it, and all the ways they can help. I’m so thankful for Homestead Manor/Thompsons Station Farmers Market for inviting us to participate. It was a major success!!!! And to all the amazing people who showed up to volunteer their time to pull this off…you are a God Send and I’m so so so incredibly thankful for each and every one of you!
